The Lion...

"From the lion, the lion... Run away in haste... He has a large head... And, a very smart waist... His jaws are stark... His claws are grim... And, wise little children... Will not play with him!"
Have you ever heard a lion roar in real life?... I have. It was at the Cleveland Zoo. I wasn't near the lion enclousre. I was far away, but his roar carried, and people all over the zoo came to where he was to see him. He was standing on his hill. His sides were moving in and out with his effort, and THAT ROAR, --- INDESCRIBABLE. To hear that is to know another reason WHY the lion is called the King Of Beasts. That lion, a male in his vigorous young prime, probably weighted 350 pounds. "Here comes a lion, Father!"... The phrase "ah mienya" is part of the iconic opening chant of "Circle of Life" from Disney's "The Lion King". The lyrics, sung in Zulu, express themes of identity, belonging, and resilience. The chant translates to "Here comes a lion, Father!," symbolizing strength and the call of the lion, reflecting the Pride Lands' soul and the journey of Simba's character. The song serves as a powerful narrative that resonates with audiences worldwide, emphasizing the cyclical nature of life and the importance of heritage and responsibility. >>> Of course, the lioness does most of the hunting, while her lord and master protects the pride and sires cubs. Ah, --- when you look that good, maybe, just laying around being magnificent and threatening-looking IS ENOUGH! Lol. (Elton John wrote the melody of "the Circle Of Life" in 15 minutes!)
